Hola,

Por que (y como) se dice (correctamente) "echar ganas".

Por ejemplo: "le eche ganas de la vida"

Como se dice esta oracion por mi mismo: "yo echo ganas de la vida" ?

Gracias por adelantado. David

Echar ganas can have various interpretations. Please put what you are trying to express in English so that your Spanish attempt can be evaluated. Thanks. - Jubilado, Jul 2, 2016
I gave the example - "le eche ganas de la vida" - which means, if I understand correctly, to have a passion for living, or to be enthusiastic about life, etc. - davidrefaeli, Jul 2, 2016

The expression "tener ganas de algo" means "to have a strong desire for something or to do something.

Echarle ganas a alguien would therefore mean to inspire someone towards something or to do something. It can also mean to make a good effort to do something.

Here's a link to a previous thread on this subject.

so, if I want to say that I threw some "ganas" it would be "echo ganas" ? - davidrefaeli, Jul 2, 2016
oh - y gracias! :-) - davidrefaeli, Jul 2, 2016
For "threw" you would need the preterite tense. "Eché" Note the accent on the final "e." - Daniela2041, Jul 2, 2016
