Que quiere decir 'atrapacha'?

Una mama me dijo el otro dia que a veces su hijo 'atrapacha' cuando habla. Pienso que queria decir que tropeza o tartamudea, pero no se exactamante y no encuentro la palabra en ningun diccionario. Hay alguien que entiende bien lo que quiere decir 'atrapacha' o 'trapacha'?

No se exactamente, pero es de Mexico, y la mayoria de la gente mexicana donde yo vivo viene de Zacatecas o Durango.

Colloquially, atragantar means to be tongue-tied. It's possible she said, or meant to say, atraganta.
