--¿Y los plátanos?

--Igual: diez varitos.

Varo: Mexican slang word for "peso"

*Güero, güera: Pronounced "where-oh", "where-ah", the sometimes-derogatory term is slang for a fair-skinned or fair-haired male or female; the Spanish equivalent of "whitey"

En México:

Esa carcacha me costó 3000 chuchos . That jolopy cost me 3000 pesos.

No traigo suelto / feria .... I don´t have any change.

La nueva casa te va a costar mucha plata ... The new house isgoing to cost you a lot of money.

Money is translated as "Dinero" You can also use: - Efectivo - Menudo (this one is used when you have many coins, "me dieron mucho menudo en la tienda" (they gave me a lot of coins in the store" - The money that someone give to you, after a purchase, is called "cambio", at least in México.

As a foreigner I cannot be sure , but I read many times the expression dough for cash.

También leí muchas veces "lana " en este sentido.

(Kids) no tengo chines.

(Young People) no tengo monei/ ni un c?ntimo/ ni cinco

(Midle age)No tengo pelas / ni una pela(peseta)/ni un céntimo/ nI un duro (5 pesetas)./ perras/ ni cinco/ ni un clavel

(Old people) no tengo ni un real/ni una perra chica/perras/ni gorda (Perra gorda=10 cents of peseta)/ ni un clavel

Spanish gypsy people .No tengo guita/parné.

In the basque country but speaking Spanish .no tengo diru. In basque ez daukat dirurik.
