What do you normally do on holiday?

Normally, I visit interesting countries- for example last year I went to Japan and this year I will visit Peru with my family. When I go on holiday, I like to look at monuments and experience new things. In my opinion spending hours sunbathing as well as lying by the pool is useless due to the fact you can do it anywhere. Therefore I tend to learn about the culture before travelling and eat new foods during my visit.

Where did you go on holiday last year, what activities u did and where u stayed?

Like I said, last year I visited Japan with my dad, my brother, my granddad and my cousin. On the first say we ate sushi, which is more delicious than the sushi in England. We stayed in Tokyo for two nights before moving to Nagoya, where we watched a sumo match. After we watched the match we travelled by bullet train to Hiroshima. I am fascinated in war history so I liked all the museums. We spent a few minutes in silence and thought if all the people that died. On the last day we went on a boat trip to Miyajima Island, whilst there we visited sanctuaries and drank saké. It was the best experience of my life.

Describe something that happened that you really liked or disliked

I am of the opinion that the accommodation in Hiroshima was really disappointing. According to the website, the rooms are clean and the employs are friendly, however this was not the case, the room looked like it hasn’t been cleans for weeks and the employs were quite rude and not helpful. The good thing was the room has a nice view. In addition I hates the journey to japan because it was 17 hours, therefore I was very bored- I slept during most of it.

Welcome to the forum. Can you add your level of English and Spanish to your profile? For example you compare sushi in Japan to sushi in England. Does that mean you live in the UK? If you live in the UK you should be fluent or advanced in English, but there are lots of mistakes in your last paragraph - is that carelessness, predictive text or because English isn't your first language?

I can see errors in your Spanish but am about to go out. Things like it is ir a and gusta is followed by a singular noun or the I infinitive.

I will try and have a look when I get back.

I would love to go back to Peru it is so interesting and beautiful. I am sure you will go to Machu Picchu try not to miss
The small towns nearby and I also loved Arequipa.

Your sentence should start with a capital letter. English and Spanish should also be capitalized. - rac1, Jun 5, 2016
