A-Z Mathematics and Science- Las Matemáticas y Las Ciencias

  4. Si quieres escribir una frase corta usando la palabra, sí puedes, pero si no eres hispanohablante nativo, por favor no pongas ninguna tan compleja que yo no la pudiera corregir.

  5. Disfrútalo.

I suspect that we all know the rules of the A-Z game, but I am going to post mine anyway:

  1. The word that you choose should have something to do with mathematics or science.

  2. Pres s the "Newest" button. Your word should begin with the letter that follows the last one in the alphabet. It is not necessary to include the "ñ". If your term contains more than one word, any of the words can begin with the letter. That letter can be in the English version or the Spanish.

  3. Vote at the minimum for the answer before yours. If not, I will not vote for you.

  4. If you want to write a short sentence using the word, you may, but if you are not a native Spanish speaker, please don't put anything too complicated for me to correct it.

  5. Enjoy it.

Good one. - katydew, Jun 7, 2016
This is an interesting topic, thanks bosque. - jennysk, Jun 8, 2016
I think if we don't get too esoteric, we can review quite a bit of useful vocabulary. :) - bosquederoble, Jun 14, 2016
Great thread amigo. :) - Nickelbackfan1, Jun 16, 2016
This thread has really done well, Bosque. :) - rac1, Jun 16, 2016
I tried to pick a broad enough topic that it would not get stalled after the first round. I am sure it will not last as long as Qué es esto, or drop one. But it should be good for a few rounds through. :) - bosquederoble, Jun 18, 2016
Great idea, Bosque I am not all surprised that it has been a success! ;) - FELIZ77, Jul 19, 2016

We need the Spanish for the word, though. I would use "aprender". :) - bosquederoble, Jun 13, 2016
Yes, the verb aprender would be the best choice in my opinion :) - FELIZ77, Jul 19, 2016

L

least common denominator ~ Mínimo común denominador

enter image description hereuse to add fractions...

2/3=8/12 ; 1/4=3/12 (add numerators, but keep LCD of 12)

solution is 11/12 since 8+3 = 11, and 12 is the LCD of the original denominators 3 , 4.
