I have let SD know about the problems we are having today. I got a message from them a little while ago saying thank you and the engineers are working on this right now. They should have it fixed very soon.

They were working on the problem with the spam threads to stop them from being able to post and somehow it caused our problem.

I just tried to post a question and got the message, "There was an error posting your question." I am sad because I put a lot of effort into writing out my question.)

I never do anything but something very short directly- otherwise I prep it on Word and copy and paste it over, and don't get rid of it until I know it has successfully been moved over. :) - bosquederoble, Jun 3, 2016

I have had this happen lately- mostly it is because I write a whole word in Caps Lock, or I hit Tab too many times. One time I wrote a long answer and it said I couldn't post it. I copied the answer and saved it. An hour later, I tried it again, and it worked.

I just received a wonderful response from Stephanie. She apologized for the inconvenience and assured me that everything will be normal shortly.

I dont' know if she answered a half million people or not (see Ray76 comment on Matjam's answer) but she DID answer mine for which I am really happy.

The last person to join Spanish Dict was number: 1,284,892. But I doubt all of them are actively sending messages. :D - bosquederoble, Jun 3, 2016

I was having the same problem. Then after an hour or so I tried again and was able to post. Now I see the problem is back. I sent a message to admins via feedback, but they don't care. I've never gotten an answer back from them. However, this means that they could lose money. That might be a motivator.
