Please analyse this sentence:

Es mejor que practiquemos en casa para que cuando lleguemos a clase podamos hablar más fluído.

Does the expression para que cuando exits?

The rule says that we must use: Future+ cuando+ subjunctive.

Why we cannot apply this to: Es mejor que practiquemos en casa para que cuando lleguemos a clase podamos hablar mas fluido,

Thank you very much

Bienvenido al foro. It is necesary to enter your gender etc, otherwise I fear you will be eliminated. I'm sorry about this, it is an excellent question. - annierats, May 27, 2016
He's not going to be eliminated, Annie. Why say that? - rac1, May 27, 2016
And I know that you know very well why we ask for that information. - rac1, May 27, 2016
@annierats , your comment is both incorrect and insulting, members are Never eliminated for not giving their gender , we help them realise the importance of gender and language levels . - ray76, May 27, 2016
I have sent out over 1.000 P Ms to new members explaining exactly why this information is necessary to enable us to give them the help they require. If you want SD to become like " Facebook " then so be it. - ray76, May 27, 2016
Muchísimas gracias por todas vuestras respuestas y comentarios, que por cierto son muy útiles y acertados. carmenbi - carmenbi, May 28, 2016

Es mejor que practiquemos en casa para que cuando lleguemos a clase podamos hablar más fluído.

I don't understand your question- every conjugated verb except ser (es) is appropriately in subjunctive, each for its own reason, and para que just happens to be followed by cuando, I would not say it is an “expression”

Es mejor que… controls practicar- practiquemos- always subjunctive

Para que… controls poder- podamos- always subjunctive

Cuando controls llegar- lleguemos- subjunctive when referring to future actions, indicative when habitual – so it might appropriately be llegamos, if you mean it habitually. I like it better in subjunctive in this sentence for some reason- given the es major que and para que- it sounds like you are giving advice for the future- but my instincts can be off.

I am not sure it should be fluido- that’s an adjective, although maybe it is like rápido and serves dual purpose

You can rewrite the sentence to remove a lot of the subjunctive, and I think depending on what you mean you could use either indicative or subjunctive:

Es mejor practicar en casa para poder hablar (más fluidamente, con más fluidez) cuando (lleguemos/llegamos) a clase.

I am a learner, await other input please.

As I think about it I am not sure if you would need to change es to sería to match lleguemos in my rewritten sentence.

Actually, I don't understand the question either, do you think it needs commas? I'll vote tomorrow, bed time now. - annierats, May 27, 2016
The way written, you could put them around: que, cuando lleguemos a clase, podamos". But in my sentence I simply moved it to the end to solve it and make clearer. :) - bosquederoble, May 27, 2016

Es mejor que practiquemos en casa para que, cuando lleguemos a clase, podamos hablar más fluído. I believe it sound better this way. You can change "podamos hablar más fluido" for "hablemos más fluido"

Yes, but you have to have a comma. 2 commas, I think. . Sería mejor si practicásemos en casa , para que cuando lleguemos en clase , hablemos mejor.
