rvt.gz spamming my computer

Question

The website keeps downloading a file called rvt.gz. What is this and why won't it stop?

Possibly: some sites load as .gz files (for compression), and some browsers misinterpret this as a download rather than a web page. Have you tried using a different browser, what browser/platform are you using? - bosquederoble, May 26, 2016
