Fue triste que el perro se perdiera y muriera
It was sad that the dog got lost and died.
Is that correct to conjugate both perder and morir in the imperfect subjunctive tense?

My thought would be yes, but I would have said "Fue triste que el perro se perdiera y que muriera" ---- but I am not entirely sure about my change so wait for other opinions. :) - bosquederoble, May 25, 2016

Sí, es correcto.
@Bosque: No hace falta decir: "...y que muriera".
