Do direct or indirect objects come first? For example, I want to say this:

I give it to you.

Would it be Yo le te doy.

Or would it be Yo te le doy.

Le is an indirect object pronoun. Unless you're giving you to him or her. The second sentence. Welcome to the forum. Please put you gender and proficiency in English and Spanish in your profile. - Jubilado, May 23, 2016
I really doubt, as written, either are truly correct, but clearly they do not say I give it to you. :) - bosquederoble, May 24, 2016
If you understand what Jubilado's comment implies, you should see why. :) - bosquederoble, May 24, 2016

Hello, IOP goes first... Here is an equation: Subject + Iop + dop + Verb... So it would be yo le te doy.

Welcome to SpanishDict. Thanks for your help. We are trying to get the OP to do some research and take responsibility for her own work. - rac1, May 24, 2016
Yo le te doy is a sentnece that I suspect native speakers would not like that seems to say "I give you to him/her". :) - bosquederoble, May 24, 2016
Yo te L O doy. or if the thing is feminine, "yo te L A doy." - Daniela2041, May 24, 2016
