Thank you note in Spanish
Hi all! I'm new to this site, so I hope I'm following the rules. I just got back from visiting Mexico City with my friend and his mother. I would love to send her a thank you note, but her English is about as good as my Spanish; we can understand each other, but neither of us are experts at each other's language. My original English note is first, though you can probably see I changed some things that I couldn't make sense of in Spanish.
Dear Sandra,
Thank you for showing me so many beautiful places and introducing me to your wonderful family. You were all so kind and I felt truly welcomed, especially when it involved all that delicious food! I hope Crisanto has shown you the pictures I sent to him. Valentina looks so cute in them, but that's no surprise for such a beautiful little girl. She was so much fun, and a very smart, funny kid. Please give her and the rest of your family my love. I look forward to visiting you all again, but hopefully sooner than last time.

PS Most of the gifts are for Crisanto's birthday, but I put a little something for Valentina in there. I hope she enjoys it!

Todo lo que era tan amable y me sentí muy bienvenida, especialmente cuando Usted me mostró toda la comida deliciosa. Espero que Crisanto le ha mostrado las imágenes que le envié a él. Valentina se ve muy linda, pero eso no es una sorpresa para una chica tan hermosa. Ella es una niña muy inteligente y divertida. Favor de dar a ella y al resto de su familia mi amor. Tengo ganas de visitar a todos de nuevo, pero espero que sea más temprano que la última vez.

PS La mayoría de los regalos son para el cumpleaños de Crisanto, pero me puso un pequeño regalo de allí para Valentina. ¡Espero que ella lo disfruta!
Some questions I have are: 1) I should use Usted, right? 2) If so, is it clear that I mean Usted and not the third person? Should I add "a Usted" in certain places for clarity? 3) Are there any places where a different word/phrase would be more appropriate? E.g. is "amor" appropriate for non-romantic love? Is PS what you would say for postscripts? 4) Other than that, the subjunctive mood and direct/indirect objects are throwing me off as much as they did in high school.

1) I don't use the usted form, ever lol. But I think it's more used in Mexico. Did you speak to her using the usted form while you were there? In any way, I think it's safer to stick to it, if she wants you to use the tú form maybe she'll ask you que la tutees. 
2) Yes, it's clear because of the way the verbs are conjugated and the pronouns such as "su" instead of "tu" and "le" instead of "te".
3) I changed imágenes for fotos because I think that's what you meant with pictures. I wrote "me sentí verdaderamente bienvenida" because I used "muy" in the previous sentence already and I didn't want to be repetitive, besides in your English version you wrote "truly welcomed" so I though it was more accurate. The word "amor" was okay, I just feel that "cariño" works better in this context but having said that, in my opinion, the word amor is okay for a non-romantic love. About the question regarding postscripts, in Spanish we use postdata, which is abbreviated P.D
Your Spanish is quite good, well done!
Bear in mind that if the person you're writing this to knows you're learning Spanish, they won't expect it to be perfect. But they will highly appreciate that you took the time to try and write in their language.
