There are many native English speakers here, most of us can offer great suggestions to the English sentences. I will do my best to go through them all, too. For the Spanish sentences, edit your posts according to the native Spanish speaker's suggestions. El tirón repentino en su sedal le hizo saber al pescador que un salmón había tomado su cebo- era un momento de alegría, un poco agridulce porque sabía que con este pez había alcanzado el límite legal del día, pero también sabía que iba a disfrutar de esta última lucha, y que tendría una buena comida esa noche.
The sudden tug on his fishing line let the fisherman know that a salmon had taken his bait- it was a moment of joy, a little bittersweet because he knew that with this fish he had reached the day’s legal limit, but he also knew that he was going to enjoy this last struggle, and that he would have a good meal that night.
