Spanish sentences in Future Tense

Question

Hello, I have written a five Spanish sentences in future tense and have translated it into Spanish. Could you please check my Spanish for errors and fix them?

Directions: What would you plan to do when you are older? What actions would you do? Make sure sentences are in El Futuro.

• Iré a comprar un boleto. - I am going to buy a ticket.
• Yo voy a viajar por España - I am going to travel through Spain.
• Yo practicaré mucho español cuando asistiré al colegio - I will practice my Spanish when I attend college
• Enseñaré español para los niños - I will teach spanish for the kids
• Seré un ayudante de maestro - I will be a student teacher

As I am a beginner, I would appreciate the corrections being made as simple as possible. Thanks!

This sentence: "Yo practicaré mucho español cuando asistiré al colegio - I will practice my Spanish when I attend college" doesn't seem right in Spanish or English. I am going to edit it a little and see what you think. "Cuando asista a clase en colegio, continuaré a estudiar español. - When I attend class at college, I will continue to study Spanish. EleRo's example is similar and he is a native speaker so you chose which you prefer.

Note that the subjunctive present tense is used after "cuando" because this is a common way to express this idea in Spanish. It is an implied future.

Enseñaré español para los niños. I think you need to be clearer. My guess is that you want to say "I will teach children Spanish" in which case say Le enseñaré español a los niños. If you want to say "I will teach children in Spanish." that would be Enseñaré en español a los niños,

Iré a comprar un boleto: if you are going to buy it, go to the AirPort and buy it. you could use The phrase "voy a comprar un boleto" as well. You need to "conjugar" The Word "asistiré" to your person in The future, because you're doing that, until you get in college. Practicaré mucho español, cuando asista al colegio. In The sentence "Seré un ayudante de maestro", you are going to help The teacher? I didn't understand clearly what you want to say there. I understand student teacher, as student/teacher, that you are going to teach, but you are a student.

In other, perhaps more comprehensible, words, he needs the present subjunctive for "asistir"? - AnnRon, May 16, 2016

Enseñare en español a los niños, means that you will teach them in spanish, speaking spanish. Could be, "Le enseñaré español a los niños" (I will teach spanish to The children". You can be more specific, what you want to teach them, read it (le enseñaré a los Niños a leer en español). I will teach The children to speak spanish (le enseñaré a los niños como hablar español [could be -le enseñaré a los niños a hablar español-] but The H is muted (has no sound), unless there's a S or C before, and that doesn't sound good/well. We try to avoid it. Sorry for The long reply, hope it helps.

You can remplace with, "le enseñaré a los niños como hablar en español" (speak), "le enseñare a los niños frases comunes en español" (I will teach The children common phrases in spanish) - EleRo, May 17, 2016
