Subjunctive question regarding "tiene sentido"
Is it ever necessary to use the subjunctive in the following cases:
Tiene sentido que ..
No tiene sentido que ...
I thought that it might need to be used because you are expressing an opinion as a fact of some sort but I am not sure.
Gracias!

I found this in wordreference.com: no tener sentido que se haga algo - to make no sense that (something be done?). That is subjunctive usage, but I also think that it could be followed by an infinitive: No tiene sentido llegar temprano. It makes no sense to arrive early.
We (at least you and I) need a native speaker to clear this up. I'll wait and see.
I can give no rule from any textbook for this, but it just sounds good to me to do it this way.
Positively and negatively: Tiene sentido que (followed by an expression with the verb in the subjunctive)
Here's an example of the negative.

Here's an example of the positive, in question form. I prefer Jubilado's use of the infinitive for positive expressions.
