Question about "así como tú"

I have a question regarding the phrase, "así como tú". What exactly does this mean? Translated directly I think it would be, like you are, but that doesn't make very much sense to me. If someone could help me out with this and maybe give an example or two that would be great.

Edit: I have been asked to give the context of the statement. Here it is:

Lo haré así como tú.

Gracias!

Así como = as well as

Así como tú= de la misma manera que tú = del mismo modo que tú= in the same way that you

Context would definitely be nice.

Let's say... in this way, like you.

Así como tú te portes conmigo, me portaré yo.
I'll behave to you the way you do to me.

I suggest you give more context. For example, in reply to what you want to say "así como tú"?

I am still curious to know the context because I have never had to use this phrase "así como tú." - Raja-jani, May 12, 2016

Así como tú, means you will do something as that person will do it, or do something, because he/she did another. Example: Cocinare así como tú (you can change it for "como tú lo harías") Así como tú te fuiste de fiesta con tus amigos, yo saldré con mis amigos hoy. "As well as you go out with your friends, I will go out with mine today"
