To be known for

Hola a todos. I was wondering how would "to be know for (something)" be translated in Spanish?

My attempt:

She is known for her cooking skills.

A ella se le conoce por sus habilidades en (el) cocinar.

Ella se conoce por ..... (no "le")

Ella es conocida por ....

Both are correct.

I would go with ....

Ella es conocida por......

I think if you use that construction, it is translated as "She is known by". - cmusba, May 8, 2016
