Sentence help for Assignment
Alright, I'm doing an assignment for Spanish; where we have to list several items that we would put in a bag.
So, I want to make sure I'm writing this sentence correctly. I'm not trying to cheat.
Anyways, here it is:
Pongo 3 pares de los calcetines gris.

Can you add your level of English and Spanish to your profile? It helps when your question is answered or an answer assessed.
What tense of the verb have you been asked to use - you have used the present tense. I suggest you write tres rather than put the number as a figure. Does your sentence need to say that you put it in the bag/ case?
I can see one obvious error - adjectives need to agree with the noun so you need to add 'es' to Gris.
I am not a fluent Spanish speaker so may have missed something.
