If you want a GREAT dictionary Spanish/English, English Spanish. the one I use it the Larousse College Dictionary, which is available on Amazon. com

I use Word reference. It has two bilingual dictionaries Oxford and Cambridge - Cambridge is better for idioms. You can look up Spanish definition synonyms etc in a monolingual dictionary which includes a tab to RAE. I don't know the source of the monolingual dictionary, but the additional link to RAE is clearly marked.

Are you based in UK or USA? Obviously there is also a link on your thread to a Mexican dictionary too.
