Singular Masculine
What does Singular Masculine mean???

One of the hardest things for people to get used to when learning Spanish is the idea that nouns (people, places, animals, things, ideas, and feelings) have a gender (male, female). There is always a question of "How can a table be feminine? and "How can a a book be masculine?" This doesnt mean that the table or the book is physically feminine or masculine, but in a grammatical sense, the ending is.
That quote is from here.
Hombre is a singular masculine noun. Hombres is a plural masculine noun.
It should be pretty self evident.

He/She Masculine/Feminine
In Spanish all nouns have gender, ie. are either feminine or masculine. This is one of the harder concepts for us English speakers. Why should an inanimate object be masculine or feminine? It is a little crazy but it just is.
