Antecedente No. and Recibo No. - what is difference?
I have a document . On top, at left, it states "Antecedente No." with a number At the right side it states "Recibo No." and has another number. Both these words translate to Receipt. So what is the difference? Document is from El Salvador if it matters.
Thanks!

I agree with Jubilado and Chileno. One is the record number (perhaps the account number for a business or a record number for a hospital) The other is the receipt number.
Both are necessary to properly track the activity of the buyer/recepient on the books of the seller/provider.
Without seeing a copy of the document it is hard to tell exactly how to interpret "antecedente".
