Cómo Salou está situada en la costa del Mar Balear,su historia tiene un tema marítimo.

I'm trying to say, Since Salou is situated on the coast of the Balear Sea, it's history has a maritime theme.

I would say:

Como Salou está situado en la costa del mar Balear, su historia tiene un tema marítimo.

"Como" sin tilde o acento.

"situado" en vez de "situada": El municipio de Salou.

"mar Balear" en vez de "Mar Balear".

Situado if you are referring to the "municipio"of Salou..

Situada if you are referring to the "ciudad" of Salou.

Costa mediterránea o costa del Mediterráneo if you are putting the reference on the sea or costa Dorada/Daurada (catalán) if you are putting the reference on this specific part of the Mediterranean coast.

"su historia tiene un tema marítimo" is not bad but it sounds weird y would say "su historia tiene gran tradición marítima".

I woud say.

Como Salou está situada en la costa mediterránea,su historia tiene gran tradición marítima

Desde Salou está situado en la Costa Balear Mar, su historia tiene un tema marítimo.
