Points Leaderboard?
I have some questions on the Points Leaderboard on Flashcards. When someone earns the most points in the week, they get the Student of the Week badge. Until this week, Esteban_317(no disrespect to you) has won the Student of the Week at least 5 times in a row without getting into the Top 10 point leaders. Also, when a person has won the Student of the Week, it says he has won it with Reputation Gain. What's up with that?

Congrats to bryonr, who became our 342° Student of the Week with a one-week gain of 24,435 pts. View leaderboards
There is a several week delay before the winner is posted, so the announcement reflects winning it several weeks ago. Currently it lists byronr- who had the highest total a couple of weeks ago- I don't remember exactly when. I think it is assigned based on a point total sometime Saturday evening. But that persons name does not show up for several weeks.
I don't see anything about the reputation there.
Here is the history of winners, you can see until recently when he dedided to take a bit of a break, Esteban essentially monopolized it with all his hard work:

Here is the history of the reputation based winners (the points from votes), again it is on a delay of several weeks. Porcupine tends to dominate that one:

The current leaderboard also has a delay of 1-2 days on it, so the posted totals are not the totals of the minute.

On the board I am listed at number 9. with 5523 for the week.
If you go to my profile on reputation you will see I currently have: 16,011
The difference is what I have done since the board last updated minus any that have expired since then for the week.
Well, Matjam, all I can think of is that Esteban_317 just really likes to practice his vocabulary every week, and he works really hard on it, so he would get the Student of the Week badge every week.
