I want to write, 'If being hated,...' Would I write that as, ' Si estando odiado,...'?

I think if you mean it as a noun, you need to use the infinitive, not the gerundio:

Si ser odiado es tu meta…

If being (to be) hated is your goal…

In English we can use the gerund as a noun, in Spanish that is never done, it is always the infinitive.

I am an intermediate level learner, please await confirmation and other opinions first.
