There is nothing more to it

There is nothing more to it

Hi everyone,

I have been translating some texts into Spanish and I wonder how to translate "there is nothing more to it." into Spanish.
Maybe could be something like "No hay mucho más que decir."
Could you help me, please?

Thank you in advance!

It isn't clear what the 'it' is can you add the next phrase or sentence to your question? - Mardle, Mar 16, 2016
Oh I didn't think that It would be related to preceding sentence. So here is the preceding sentence "I just picked the picures I like." and then "There is nothing more to it." - AndréYuhai, Mar 16, 2016

I would translate it as: "no hay nada más al respecto" short and to the point.

Yes exactly, that really helped me, thank you :) - AndréYuhai, Mar 17, 2016
Always nice to get a native speakers point of view. I would never have come up with "al respecto". Thank you. - gringojrf, Mar 17, 2016

There is (was) nothing more to it. Or.... It (is) was as simple as that. Or.... It (is) was that easy.

I think the past tense is more correct here as the decision of picking pictures was in the past. But I am not a grammarian.

No fue nada más que eso.....Fue tan sencillo como eso.....Fue tan fácil como eso.

Of course your example: "No hay mucho más que decir." "There is not much more to say" also conveys the idea.

I´m not sure I understand your context. What you suggest in your question would be: No hay nada más que decir, but this means: There´s nothing more to say.

The senario about the photos would be something like: Y ya se acabó.

Yeah it is saying like "I picked them because I like them, there is nothing more to say about it or not any other reason." Thank you :) - AndréYuhai, Mar 17, 2016
