See this link

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_where_Spanish_is_an_official_language

There is too much info to bring over, so I will just quote the opening sentence:

Spanish is the majority language in 21 sovereign states and several dependent territories, totaling around 442 million people.

This is followed at the link by a list, then lists of other places with significant Spanish speaking populations.

Including:

United States total pop 318,892,103 Spanish speaking 50,579,787 percent 15%

According to Rush Limbaugh, one may also include the USA in the group.

Rush tells a joke that goes something like this:

Two Iraqi spies are having lunch in a restaurant, one of them speaking loudly in Arabic.

The other one not wanting to draw attention to them "shushes" his friend declaring, "We're in America, don't speak Arabic, speak Spanish!! smile
