Welcome to La Palabra Del Día
There are many native English speakers here, most of us can offer great suggestions to the English sentences. I will do my best to go through them all, too. For the Spanish sentences, edit your posts according to the native Spanish speaker's suggestions. Use today's Word of the Day in your own Spanish sentence (and include the English translation as well). Try to use the word in a completely new way and vote on the sentences you like best. (Don't use a translator, copy from a book, use song lyrics, etc.) Please keep political, religious or personal statements to a minimum. This is a practice game.

“Por ti volaré” es la traducción en español de la canción italiana “Con te partiró” pero como en inglés “Time to say goodbye” no dice lo mismo que el original; sin embargo ¡qué hermosa música!
“For you I’ll fly” is the Spanish translation of the Italian song “Con te partiró” but as in English “Time to say goodbye” it doesn’t say the same as the original; nevertheless, what beautiful music!

En la costa Mediterránea de España se llaman a los ingleses Los Por Favores porque dicen ' por favor' tanto. Los españoles casi nunca dicen por favor, quizás porque saben usar el subjuntivo y por eso no lo necesitan .
On the Mediterranean Coast of Spain the English Expats are known as the ' Por Favores' because they say this so often.Spanish people hardly ever say 'please ' , maybe because as they know how to use the subjunctive, they don't need to.
