Hello! Nice to see you again! I read all the posts and comments and think the best is "Today I lost two games but won a new friend! Let's welcome our first English speaking member of the clan (or group): (his moniker here) " - Jubilado, Mar 7, 2016
Yeah, it is wonderful to see you again, amigo. You are missed. :):) - rac1, Mar 7, 2016

Today I lost two games, but I gained a new friend. Let us welcome the first English-speaking member of our group ( clan), Andrew Miner ( or whatever his name may be).

Without some context I can't do any better. Clan may be ok, it usually means a family group, or very close group.

I hope this may be of some help and good luck with your speech !

Thank you so much Annie!! ♡ :) - crucesignatus, Mar 7, 2016
It is correct English-speanking or English-speaker? Annie. - crucesignatus, Mar 7, 2016
Or "today I lost two games, but won a new friend" Very good annie! - 00cc0117, Mar 7, 2016
English-speaking member= English speaker. No es correcto decir English speaker member. :) - bosquederoble, Mar 7, 2016
†AIC†™[A] is his logo in our family, community or clan, his nickname is "miner", thank you again Annie!! :) - crucesignatus, Mar 7, 2016
How is the best way friend?, I could say: English speaker integrant? - crucesignatus, Mar 7, 2016
Thank you a lot Bosque!! - crucesignatus, Mar 7, 2016
I would like to chat with you, friends, on a call for facebook. :) - crucesignatus, Mar 7, 2016
Our clan is a community for gaming Age of Empires, friends!! :D - crucesignatus, Mar 7, 2016
:) - bosquederoble, Mar 7, 2016
That comment is still for the word integrant. "English-speaking member" debería funcionar bien. :) - bosquederoble, Mar 7, 2016
The expression "but won" is correct? or must be "but I won". - crucesignatus, Mar 7, 2016
Since there is the subject before lost, it can carry through: "I lost two games but won a new friend"- it sounds good to me. :) - bosquederoble, Mar 7, 2016
Very good, Annie. :) - rac1, Mar 7, 2016
Good observation Friend Bosque I thought the same thing!! :) - crucesignatus, Mar 7, 2016
Hello Amb!!! ♡♡♡ - crucesignatus, Mar 7, 2016
I think gained is better than won but both sound natural - Mardle, Mar 8, 2016
Thank you Mardle!! ♡ - crucesignatus, Mar 8, 2016
Bosque, thanks for the comment, I have had meetings all day and I will study it later and alter, if necessary. - annierats, Mar 10, 2016
And I agree David, you can win friends, or lose them, but I think ' to gain a friend' is normal usage, this side of the Atlantic. Thanks anyway for all the interesting comments. - annierats, Mar 10, 2016
