That is very nice of you David , I would have said that this is quite a surprise , but

you have always shown yourself to be extremely well mannered and helpful so

therefore it comes as no surprise to see that you have taken the bother to post a

thread to thank all the members .That is very thoughtful and heartwarming mate

You are well on the way to becoming a Legend here David .Take a bow

I wish mine was mate , tell me , what is your secret ? - ray76, Mar 4, 2016
I also have friends who live in Costa Rica that stay in touch, they are Ticos, not gringos. I have actually lived with my friends there which gives a lot of insite into the culture.I have traveled to all, but four of the countries in the Spanish world. - 00cc0117, Mar 4, 2016
All of this travel was over a time period, including the past ten years. An experience with the local cultures is priceless. Having said that, I needed the formal training that I'm getting on Spanishdict now and the support with proper grammar. - 00cc0117, Mar 4, 2016
One notable experience that I had in Chile, I spoke little Spanish and they spoke no English, I was lost, it made a strong impression on me fast. Never forgot that one. Punta Arenas in Patagonia, Wow! - 00cc0117, Mar 4, 2016
