My car is going in for a tune up.

My car is going in to get serviced for the 10,000 mile check up.

How do you say that in Spanish?

Julian do they have miles in South America, not kilometers? Don't laugh, I really don't know, I've never been. - annierats, Feb 19, 2016
In Costa Rica they use the kilometer. - 00cc0117, Feb 19, 2016
Annie, all south and central America, Canada and Mexico use kilometers / kilometraje, but the question was about "10,000 mile check up" . I think USA is the only country that doesn´t use metric - 005faa61, Feb 19, 2016

Around here ( Andalucía, Spain) it is called ' revisión de coche ( check-up ). I don't think the milage alters the frase. Revisión périodica is used for regular checks/services. I've made a link, to some advice, I'm very short of time today.

Actually, the link is about a complaint, but the vocabulary is most useful, it is full of oilchanges, filters etc. - annierats, Feb 19, 2016
We had this same question recently and came up with the same answer. - ray76, Feb 19, 2016
