Question about nosotros commands

Hello, everyone. I was working on nosotros commands, when I ran into a couple of problems. I can do nosotros commands just fine when they aren’t accompanied by a pronoun (or do not involve the word “ir”). However, as we all know, ir and pronouns do come up sometimes. Can someone please tell me where I went wrong with these sentences?

Original sentence: No debemos cobrar los cheques que nos lleguen; debemos depositarlos en la cuenta corriente. My sentence: No cobremos los cheques que nos lleguen; depositémolos en la cuenta corriente.

Original sentence: No debemos ir al trabajo mañana por la mañana; debemos ir al correo a hablar con un empleado. My sentence: No vamos al trabajo mañana por la mañana; vamos al correo a hablar con un empleado.

Sentence 1: depositémoslos You only drop the "s" when "nos" follows.

Sentence 2 No vayamos. "Ir" is irregular. You only use the subjunctive form in the negative.

Thank you so much. That was very helpful. I didn't know that you only drop the "s" afrter "nos". I thought it was dropped after every pronoun. Also, I didn't know that the subjunctive form of "ir' is used in the negative. You're a lifesaver. :-) - magician12, Feb 11, 2016
