Spanish Adjective Order (Is this right?)
I'm writing a paper on Guatemala, specifically Antigua. I've written it in English, and I'm translating it into Spanish on my own. But, I'm worried about the adjectives. I can't seem to remember which order the adjectives go. Such as:
"The green shirt." - is it "la camisa verde" or "la camisa verde?" Or "I ate lots of food." - is it " Yo comí mucho comida." or "Yo comí comida mucho."
I'm sure there's some rule, but I'm having a hard time finding it. (Maybe I'm not googling correctly?
)
****This is my paper, do you think the adjectives are correct?**
I'm trying to make sure that the gender, number, and order they're in is correct. ![]()
"Mi viaje a Antigua, Guatemala fue muy divertido y emocionante! Dormí a un posada llamaba Casa Santo Domingo y comí mucho buena comida. Mi favorito lugares que visité fueron la Santo Domingo del Cerro Cultural Parque, la ziplines de el selva, y la volcán de Pacaya. Disfruté la parque mucho, tuvo mucho interesante arte! Ziplining fue muy miedo, pero también divertido. Escalé parte de la volcán, pero fui demasiado cansado terminar."

Usually adjectives follow the nouns, but there are some exceptions:
Adjectives of quantity: mucho/a muchos/as poco/a pocos/as algunos/as varios/as
Demonstrative adjectives este/esta, estos/estas, ese/esa esos/esas aquel/aquella aquellos/as
Adjectives such as "bueno" and "malo" drop the "o" before a masculine singular noun when coming before the noun. The feminine retains the "a"
Un buen muchacho, una buena muchacha; un mal muchacho, una mala muchacha
OR un muchacho bueno, una muchacha buena, un muchacho malo una muchacha mala.
Possessive adjectives mi/mis, tu/tus, su/sus etc always precede the noun
Here is your paragraph with corrections:
I will put my corrections in italics.

I think this should be stated as: Parque Cultural Santo Domingo del Cerro.
You had mistakes in gender and number. You need to be more careful about these.
Also when stating a physical condition, "estar" is needed- (estuve demasiado cansado-----)
Good work! A few notes:
called "casa S.D." , you should use the past participle - llamaDa. llamaba is the imperfecto.
lugares is plural, and the adjective usually comes after the noun.
de + el = del
volcan is masculine
when you use "very", as in very interesting, say "muy" again, the adverb and adjective should be after the noun.
To say that ziplining was very scaring, say that you had fear when you ziplined. It now reads that 'ziplining was very fear.'
there are a couple of other small things, but I'm not sure about them, so just see if you can fix the ones I noted to start.
Keep working at it!
