Using "a" before a verb when and when not to use?

Hola a todos,

Tengo una pregunta sobre cuando se usa "a" antes un verbo. Por ejamplo: No he querido (a) caminar/cenar/comer. Parece que he visto eso escrito en ambas formas; con (a) y sin (a). ¿Hay una regla sobre eso? ¿Puede alguien me explica?

It's not a matter of an "a" before a verb, it's that "a" sometimes follows a verb.

Here's a a list verbs with a required "a" that may precede another verb. You don't have to memorize all of them, just the ones you want to use.

Examples: Empiezo a aprender el japonés. I'm beginning to learn Japanese.

Me echo a aprenderlo con entusiasmo. I'm throwing my self into learning it with enthusiasm.

I dont think so.

Maybe is the way that you want to say that.

Quiero ir a caminar.

Quiero caminar.

(x) Quiero a caminar is incorrec.

No he querido caminar.

No he querido cenar.

No he querido comer.

And go somewhere.

No he querido ir a caminar.

No he querido ir a cenar.

No he querido ir a comer.

Usando solamente la "a"

Vamos a caminar

Vamos a cenar

vamos a comer
