You let me down

Question

Hola a todos. How do you say you let me down in Spanish?

A friend once wrote to me "No quiero quedarte mal" which in the context I took to mean I don't want to let you down but I can't find that written anywhere else but I think that is what it means.

So to say you let me down, can I say "Me quedaste mal"? Or don't let me down, "no me quedas mal"?

Bosque, in English don't let me down and don't fail me, which of the two is more colloquial?

Edit:

I asked because "no me defraudes", "no me decepciones", "no me quedes mal" and "no me falles" are all equally used to mean the same thing. I guess usage, at one time or another, make one of them to be perceived as colloquial, but it is just the usage that varies in time.

Because it is a negative command it needs to be quedes, not quedas.

De acuerdo con etwin "No me falles". Another option "No me defraudes" or "No me decepciones".

"No me falles" es un poco más coloquial. :=)
