Hello Everybody! Welcome to the Picture of the Day!

This is a game where you can all practice your Spanish and English, but still have fun at the same time!

Post your comments/titles/captions to this picture (both in Spanish and English) and vote for the responses you like. The best answer will be chosen soon on the basis of the answer I feel is the best, the fact that the person has corrected their post and possibly the number of votes.

Please, give everyone a chance and only post more or less one caption and no photos.

Please encourage everyone with a vote. . .Please help each other with your English/Spanish sentences. And above all, have fun!

Kangaroos were always at a disadvantage in boxing due to their very weak arms, but after the sport of kick boxing became popular, suddenly they were capable of winning championships.

The kangaroo claims that "below the belt" means nothing to him.

Means nothing to me either, does that mean I am kangaroo ? - Nickelbackfan1, Jan 26, 2016
Not a boxing fan, I take it? :>) In boxing, it's a foul to hit your opponent below the belt. If you do it, you may get a warning from the referee. If you persist, you may be disqualified. - AnnRon, Jan 26, 2016
That is an interesting fact Ann, I will have to remember that, and maybe look up boxing videos. :) - Nickelbackfan1, Jan 27, 2016
When I used to do some boxing, it was soooo hard to resist doing a spinning roundhouse kick to the face of my opponent. - Daniela2041, Jan 27, 2016
Violence Dani's way to solve stupidity - Nickelbackfan1, Jan 27, 2016
'Below the belt' is also used to describe actions or words that are unfair or perhaps rather indecent - jennysk, Jan 27, 2016
That is a neat rule - Nickelbackfan1, Jan 27, 2016

Every one in the MMA knows Kung-Fu. If you want to be the champion you need to master Kang-Ru, there is no defense against it.

Dani to Annie" Anniiiieee! Look at that "mae geri!" (Frontal snap kick) I am sooo proud of him. He's one of my best students. "

I think the kangaroo is not correct in the rules of sport; necessary to disqualify him.

(The) Kangaroo speaks quietly and confidently with a genuine Australian accent: "I'm going to kick you where it hurts, mate! This one's for messing (meddling/interfering) with my family ...they are not your little pets, (or playthings) okay?! wink

(o ¿vale!) wink

o ...con un acento verdaduro* australiano

Editor's note/s: I was trying to find a word which means little pets or playthings! I know that you natives (Spanish speaking people /hispanohablantes) love using diminutives like abuelita so I thought that perhaps I could use 'mascotitas'. Pablo, I am sure that you or Daniela or one of the other natives could come up with (provide) a more appropriate word! wink
