Great list. #9 has a typo, and "acercarse" is usually followed by "a". "Feedback" in Spanish was new to me. I thought it was "realimentación" (so does my diccionario, jeje) - Daniela2041, Jan 21, 2016
Thank you F Y S and D , I think that I have fixed up all the glitches , I have to copy and past each word separately or ig goes all haywire. - ray76, Jan 21, 2016

Yes, this is in the SD Blog. I do wish members would look in the blog. SD has been adding these types of articles. There is a lot members can learn there. Thanks for posting. :) - rac1, Jan 21, 2016

The means are provided. What is more common?

Furthermore don’t ask me again.

El asunto presente es cómo tener éxito en tu educación; por lo tanto necesitamos analizar los retos además del costo.

The issue at hand is how to succeed in your education; therefore, we need to analyze the challenges as well as the cost.

De este punto no podemos avanzar más lejos.

From this point we can go no further.

Con respecto a su solicitud sólo respondo….

Regarding your request I can only say….

The overview of all the studies gives us….

They approached the place with trepidation.

However it wasn’t worth it.

(Pero la práctica aqui, sí vale la pena.)

Daniela o otro hispanohablante, favor de corregir mis ejemplos. Editarlos directamente me conviene.

If you had posted this first, no doubt you would have gotten a ton of votes. - Daniela2041, Jan 21, 2016
I'll be grateful for what I get. Are these all okay? Do you think I should translate them into English? I did it to practice them. - Jubilado, Jan 21, 2016

These are so very, very useful. People should make up flash cards, not on SD, but on 3x5 cardboard index cards and practice them until thoroughly mastered---going both ways , looking at the Spanish and saying the English, (easy) followed by looking at the English and saying the Spanish (hard). The paper flashcards can be carried about in pocket or purse.

Depending on how many of these you know, and how good a memory you have, mastery could take place within 3 days tops--I mean if you really practice. Notice that I said "saying" twice. Our brains are wired to acquire language orally. If you don't believe me, ask your three year old to write out a vocabulary. The written word helps but people exposed to immersion in the language tend to acquire fluency more quickly. It didn't take me any time at all to get oral fluency in English. The written part (ugh.) took much longer.

Great advice, Daniela :) - FELIZ77, Jan 22, 2016
Excellent advice! - I do quibble a bit and would say " not only" use SD for flashcards, but also make your own to carry with you. Cultivate the habit of practicing them at various times of the day in the manner (Daniela: - ) so wisely prescribed. - - Esteban_317, Jan 22, 2016
