Just wondering if anyone could take a look at these sentences for me? My teacher asked a native speaker to correct it but I don't have anyone to ask. Thanks in advance.

1) Vosotros tenéis que limpiar los platos esta noche. You all have to wash the dishes tonight.

2) Vosotros ibais a correr en la mañana. You all were going to run in the morning.

3) Espero que trabajáis duro esta semana. I hope that you all work hard this week.

4) ¿Vosotros jugáis fútbol este semana o la próxima semana? Are you all playing football this week or next week?

5) ¿Vosotros queréis ir a casa hora? Haciendo tarde. Do you guys want to go home now? It's getting late.

6) Vosotros quisisteis llevarse bien pero no fue exitoso. You all wanted to get along well but it was not successful.

7) ¿Vosotros ibais ir a McDonalds después de la escuela? Did you guys go to McDonalds after school?

8) Vosotros me extrañaréis cuando dejo. You all will miss me when I leave.

9) ¿Vosotros sois los amigos de Emilia? Are you guys friends of Emilia?

10) Vosotros debéis hacer la cosa correcta. You all should do the right thing.

You will need to add the English before we will do that. - rac1, Jan 17, 2016
Why? You can see what I'm trying to say. - helensmith, Jan 17, 2016
We do not do your homework for you , make an attempt yourself and we may help. - ray76, Jan 17, 2016
You were told this on your last post , this is not open for discussion . - ray76, Jan 17, 2016
I've already done the homework? I don't want them translated, I just want someone to point out any mistakes... - helensmith, Jan 17, 2016
Why? Because the members here want to be sure of what You are trying to say. - rac1, Jan 17, 2016
ello ello ello ! That is the same as doing homework for you , getting it corrected before you submitt it is cheating . - ray76, Jan 17, 2016
I have prepared an answer, but I see that you are having difficulty complying with requests by the moderators so I will hold off posting until this is settled. :) - bosquederoble, Jan 17, 2016
We were asked to get it corrected in order to reflect on our mistakes and since I don't know any native speakers around here, I thought this website could help me. However, people seem quite unwelcoming and I get told I'm doing everything wrong. - helensmith, Jan 17, 2016
Helen - just provide the English as well. - ian-hill, Jan 17, 2016
I am sorry you feel that way. This is a teaching site. We ask everyone to submit the English version as well. Don't take it personally. - rac1, Jan 17, 2016
How can we know if it is correct if we don't know what you want to say in English? - ian-hill, Jan 17, 2016
No young lady you were asked to provide an English translation , quite simple , just comply and all your wishes will be granted. - ray76, Jan 17, 2016
Thank you for adding the English. - rac1, Jan 17, 2016
And for filling out your profile a vote from and a thank you . - ray76, Jan 17, 2016

Seems like we have resolved the issues.

1) Vosotros tenéis que limpiar los platos esta noche. Seems okay.

2) Vosotros ibais a correr en la mañana. Proper Spanish would say por la mañana.

3) Espero que trabajáis duro esta semana. Esperar requires subjunctive. Trabajéis.

4) ¿Vosotros jugáis fútbol este semana o la próxima semana? Semana is feminine, needs esta not este.

5) ¿Vosotros queréis ir a casa hora? Haciendo tarde. You said hora- hour. Did you mean ahora- now. I have always seen Se está haciendo tarde. I truly do not know if it is permissible to shorten it.

6) Vosotros quisisteis llevarse bien pero no fue exitoso. se does not match vosotros. Did you mean llevaros.

7) Vosotros ibais ir a McDonalds después de la escuela. ibais is imperfect- more did you used to, if you meant did you go once- fuisteis.

8) Vosotros me extrañaréis cuando dejo. Cuando in the future needs subjunctive, I have never seen dejar used intransitively like that- always to leave something, it might be okay, but I would use me vaya or salga. I might even switch to después de que, since you mean after, not when, but that is semantics.

9) ¿Vosotros sois los amigos de Emilia? Seems okay.

10) Vosotros debéis hacer la cosa correcta. Seems okay, some might read debéis as must, deberíais as should.

These are all my opinions as an intermediate level learner, I could be wrong, have missed things, or simply have made mistakes, as this is not basic grammar.

I might add, pretty good for someone who lists as a beginner, maybe you haven't learned subjunctive yet? - bosquederoble, Jan 17, 2016
Thank you bosquederobl. That's wonderful, I will look into your corrections. I'm in stage 3 but I'm not sure what that really means but I don't feel too confident. No, I don't think I have and have just tried to research it and am a little confused. - helensmith, Jan 17, 2016
De nada. :) - bosquederoble, Jan 17, 2016
Cuando when referring to something that hasn't happened yet is subjunctive, if in the past indicative- if repetitive/habitual- has happened and will again- still indicative. :) - bosquederoble, Jan 17, 2016
Actually as I relook- in 9, I would drop the los in front of amigos, as you said in English friends, not the friends (like the ones I was expecting). :) - bosquederoble, Jan 17, 2016
