There are many native English speakers here, most of us can offer great suggestions to the English sentences. I will do my best to go through them all, too. For the Spanish sentences, edit your posts according to the native Spanish speaker's suggestions. There are some Spanish speakers in California who believe that "correspondent" (journalist) translates as "correspondiente." (Due to the influence of English, undoubtedly.) But it's not true. One says "corresponsal."

Ayer fui al hospital veterinario para comprar unos tratamientos contra pulgas , garrapatas y parasitos internos y ya he dado las pastillas a los perros y media pastilla a la gatita, quien desafordunadamente escupió la otra mitad.
