Use of por/para question?

Use of por/para question?

I was reading the por/para page on spanishdict, but I am confused about one thing:

I wanted to say to a native speaker today: "It is better for the environment."

Would the proper translation be:

Es mejor PARA/POR el ambiente?

Similarly, to say "It is better for you":

Es mejor PARA/POR ti?

Gracias!

When is something is intended for someone or something, we use "para."

Entonces: La conservación es mejor para el medio ambiente y también para ti.

Conservation is better for the environment and also for you.

El amor es lo mejor para todos.
