Translation of confusing sentence

Question

I have the following sentence: ¿No te caen bien tus vecinos?

I don't understand why the verb "caen" is being used in this sentence. Doesn't it mean "to fall"? Also, I am not sure how the reflexive pronoun "te" is being used. Help would be appreciated!

The verb caer means to fall, but in idiomatic phrases, used with bien it can carry the sense of strike or impress. Your example could be translated: "Don't you like your neighbors?" or "Don't your neighbors impress you." There is an implication that they are annoying.
