Reputation question.

Hola people of SpanishDict, I have a quick question, why do I sometimes get reputation for being voted up ,but sometimes I do not get reputation for being voted up. I first thought you got reputation for the first 3 or 4 votes then you do not get anymore for that question/answer, but now I got voted up on two things and It did not give me any reputation when I only had 2 votes and on another I got points for 6 votes why does it do this. PS I am not trying to be greedy or anything I am only curious why it does this sometimes. smile

Yep, you're racking them up. This vote may give you 10. - Jubilado, Dec 28, 2015

I suspect that you're running into Spanishdict's 200-point-a-day limit. Once you get 200 points in a 24-hour period, you get no more until some of those expire. Frustrating sometimes, I know, but we are all equally limited by it, so I guess it's fair.

Thanks Ann I did not think of there being a limit, that is a good way to keep reputation gain fair for everyone, Thanks again mate. :) - Nickelbackfan1, Dec 28, 2015
