Why is it tenga and not tengo?

Hello guys!! Sorry for asking this question at this time :( but I did not know who else to ask!

I heard in a song this following sentence: "Aunque tenga cara de bonito, me acomplejo yo tambien ", and it means: Although I have a handsome face, I am also complex. I was wondering why tenga is used instead of tengo?

Well here goes from a Richard Cranium,- Tengo means "I have" but it is the face that is handsome , aso que ,'tenga cara,' but there is probably a far more erudite reason . - ray76, Dec 26, 2015

Some words, like aunque, in a certain context may make the following verb subjunctive. What the speaker is saying here using the subjunctive "tenga" is the following:

Although I may have a handsome face (and so forth.)
