Question

Hello guys! I wish you all are having a great time!

The phrases "En mi opinion" and "a mi juicio" mean the same thing, which is; in my opinion. I would like to know when to use each one of them, and why are the two phrases different like that, and could the second phrase be translated differently?

Both are pretty much "sinónimos" (I tried the English word but I couldn't spell it )

Another one I use all the time is "a mi ver" Which is like "As I see it"

"A mi juicio" could be translated as "in my judgment."

I think it's good to know many other ways to say one phrase but the truth is that you will hear more often:

Desde mi punto de vista , A mi parecer, A mi modo de ver o A mi juicio (which sounds more formal)

You can also say: Yo pienso que..., Opino que..., Creo que... or informally "Para mi ..."

"A mi vista" and "a mis ojos" I have never heard them before in usage like that.

This usage is regional, so the terms will vary, ie: in Mexico "por mi manera de ver" is very common, but maybe not in Peru - 005faa61, Dec 23, 2015

Where did you hear that? I have never ever heard any Spanish-speaking native use that expression either in Spain or any of my native Spanish teachers from South America: eg Colombia, or Uruguay. - FELIZ77, Dec 23, 2015
