Attention all Members.

If you look below "Ask A Question " you will see a list , one is "Categories" click

on this and it will take you to an amazing array of learning tools one of which

is the "Reference" section where you can reference wonderful articles such as

Ser Y Estar , by Paralee, Daniella ,Sandy and many more. So please avail

yourselves of these great tools freely provided by Spanishdict for each and

every "spanishdictaholic".As the actress said to the Bishop "use it or lose it.

You can also write a word or question into the box beneath "Questions" and that

will take you to all the posts covered by your word or question.

I've been telling you and Ian this from the beginning, that reference articles are under categories as well as the other areas on SD. :)xo - rac1, Apr 13, 2017

Dear Ray,

All the answers and questions of the website are grouped into 7 categories

  1. Vocabulary & Grammar

  2. Vocabulary & Grammar

  3. Culture and Travel

  4. Games and challenges

  5. Practice

  6. Website questions and feedback

  7. Reference articles

Among all these categories, currently my account can only ask questions belonging to 5 categories, except for 4. Game and challenges and 7. Reference articles

enter image description here

To create reference articles, an account needs to have enough 5,000 reputation, as explained by the website

However, to create a Game and challenge, I have not figured out how to fulfill its requirements yet. May you have any helpful idea?

Best regards

You have Vocabulary and Grammar listed twice. To create a game, just click on, "Ask a Question" and put it under, "Games and Challenges. :) - rac1, Apr 13, 2017
Then in the body of the question, first post the rules of the game and make sure to add to that to do in both languages. - rac1, Apr 13, 2017
Also on, The right to edit questions, means only your own questions or posts. - rac1, Apr 13, 2017

Many thanks to Rac1 for your warm willingness to help me smile However, I need to admit that it hasn't worked for me yet.

You have Vocabulary and Grammar listed twice.

It's right that there are 2 "Vocabulary and Grammar"s, but they don't have the same meaning. The first is the default selection when anyone starts choosing a category; while the second is one of the categories in the list for us to choose.

To create a game, just click on, "Ask a Question" and put it under, "Games and Challenges. smile

When I read this comment of yours, I hoped that I would scrolled down to see the category of "Games and Challenges" at the bottom of the list, but actually, it doesn't exist. There's no more category below Website question and feedback, as shown in this image. I'm really sorry for any inconvenience.

enter image description here

Then in the body of the question, first post the rules of the game and make sure to add to that to do in both languages.

Sincerely I have had experiences in opening threads as well as other rules due to my active memberships in other internet forums. I had known this website's rules for games through the previous threads in this category, but it's still meaningful when I heard it from you. As I understand, the content of the rules is not everything, but the heartiness you want to give me is what I appreciate the most. Thank you! I have many friends in these other forums, and I hope you and Ray can be great friends of mine, too.

Also on, The right to edit questions, means only your own questions or posts.

Try to reach 5,000 population as soon as possible, and I will have the right to edit and correct other friends' posts and questions. That's what we have thought about, haven't we? smile Like this example in Ray's famous game thread:

Sincerely yours

Where are you looking? Are you looking under, "Categories"? Why would you go to, "Website Questions and Feedback" to find, "Games?" Also, Ray and I are already friends and have been. We are both moderators as well, so, I'm not sure why you wrote that. - rac1, Apr 13, 2017
We want to help you however we can. Where are you talking about when you say, there are two "Vocabulary and Grammar" sections? - rac1, Apr 13, 2017
The example you gave is a thread from Feb. of 2012. They have up-dated many things since that time. That could explain what is happening. - rac1, Apr 13, 2017
Dear Rac, I mean I hope " I hope you and Ray can be friends of mine, too". Sorry for the confusion in my English usage :) - Elsarendelleonorbon, Apr 13, 2017
The terms "Website Questions and Feedback" and "Vocabulary and Grammar" I use here are in the images I upload. I'm talking about the list we see in the image :) - Elsarendelleonorbon, Apr 13, 2017
Yeah, it's correct that the thread is from February 2012, but the edit was done in 2015, by a non-moderator - Elsarendelleonorbon, Apr 13, 2017
Because SpanishDict and Wordreference are the most helpful Spanish forums, I had spent time observing these forums before officially joing. I remember that about a decade ago, there was another moderator on this site. She's the best moderator I've known:) - Elsarendelleonorbon, Apr 13, 2017
Awww, that's very sweet. I'm sure she would appreciate that. What I'm saying about "edits" is No one should be editing another person's post. You are making comments to me that are a bit passive aggressive. I get it. The moderators have agreed, this - rac1, Apr 13, 2017
thread is closed. Should you have something to respond to us, Ian, Ray and myself, please do so in a PM. - rac1, Apr 13, 2017
