How to say photograph

Hola guys! I have a question when I try to translate photograph it gives me la fotografía and when I translate that it gives me photographer and my Spanish teacher told me that says photo of . so I am curious on how to say it correctly can someone please help me?

La fotografía or la foto (for short) is the picture.
El fotógrafo, on the other hand is the one who took the picture.

If you type the word photograph into the translator, it gives you la fotografía. That is correct.
If you type the word fotografía into the translator, it gives you photographer? That strikes me as pretty close to impossible.
