If you do a search, you will see this has been asked several times. You should get a lot of words that way. - rac1, Dec 4, 2015

Mi palabra favorita es "adelante ". Primero: porque esta fue la primera palabra que comprendí

Segundo : Porque quisiera seguir adelante en la lengua española.

My favorite word is "forward". First, because this was the first word I understood.

Second: Because I want to go forward in the Spanish language.

I have so many favourite Spanish words, it is truly very difficult to choose just one lol I have no idea what my most used word is, sorry!

I will pick just one of them: Genial

Genial = Brilliant! / Fantastic!/ Great!

enter link description here Please click on the link provided to see how the word is pronounced. When you see a loud speaker (megaaphone) symbol click on the symbol to hear the word pronounced! wink

It can also mean funny, witty

This word is used in Spain

In South America, they would say: ¡Qué bueno! but In Spain they say ¡Genial! / ¡Qué genial!

I hope this helps your survey smile

The word I use the most on Spanishdict is "gracias." It's usually directed at one of our wonderful "correctors" when they point out how to fix my egregious errors.

The minute I saw it, I took a liking to the word "aguanieve," the Spanish word for "sleet." "Watersnow" is such a fun way to think of sleet, and it's easy to remember.

I like "granizo," the Spanish word for "hail" too, so maybe I just like precipitation (la precipitación).

My favorite is "desafortunadamente" because it just sounds good to me, and I can say it will with a decent accent.

My next favorite is "trabajaba" because it just sounds funny to me. No offense intended to the Spanish language or its speakers, but it sounds like what my parents used to say to get us to hurry up, or what an old man would say when he saw a beautiful woman. ("Hubba, hubba!!!")

wink
