There is a Spanish saying: Speaking of the King of Rome...
It is used when a conversation is mentioning a person and right away he makes his appearance.
I know there is this type of saying in our country: We are talking about the wolf and he is already in the garden.
Please tell me if there is this proverb in English too?

¡Hola!, porcupine7:
In English, the expression is "Speak of the devil (and he is sure to appear)".
Look here in our Span¡shD!ct phrasebook ---> Hablando del Rey de Roma
Stay well!
Merry Christmas season.

In the UK we say 'talk of the devil' implied is - and he will appear. Speak of the devil is also used.
Lovely to hear a Hungarian proverb. The sayings often have so much culture attached to them.
Hablar de ángeles y ellos aparecer
Speak of angels and they shall appear.
The nuns always liked this one better.
