Hacerme caso
How do I respond to someone who is repeating " Haceme caso "? Would I say " te hago caso"? Or "te entiendo" or just say nothing ?

Like others have said, it depends on the situation:
- If they're giving you information, they might want you to pay attention. "Te escucho", or just "sí, sí" are good ways to answer to let them know you're listening.
- If they're giving you orders, they might want you to follow them. Just reply with "sí, vale, de acuerdo" or other affirmatives.
- If they've already given you orders, then you're probably not following them properly - you're not doing what they say. You should ask them what they want you to do: "¿qué quieres que haga?"
- Maybe you're making a joke of what they're saying, and they want to be taken seriously. You should apologize and, well, take them seriously.
If you could give us some context, that would be a great help.
Who ask you "Haceme caso"?. What language is it?
That is totally incorrect in Spanish. He/she should say "Hazme caso", if you are one person (singular) or "Hacedme caso" if you are more than one person (plural).
There are many possible answers in function of the context:
Ya te estoy/estamos haciendo caso
No quiero (voy a) hacerte caso porque no me importa lo que dices (This is so bad XD)
haha this is funny. We always say this here: "Haceme caso", We all know it is not grammatically correct but we say it like that though.
What the person is trying to say is that please take his/her advice. You can answer "bueno".
Two friends talking:
Cristian: -Yo no sé qué hacer...
Santiago: -Vaya y hable con ella y solucionan todo.
Cristian: -Jumm
Santiago: -Nea, haceme caso!
Cristian: -Bueno.
There must be an extreme communication gap.
This depends entirely on the situation.
Wow! My head hurts! I plugged in "hacedme caso" and "hazme caso" into the SD translator and they both came back as "ignore me" - hardly the same as "pay attention to me." Can someone explain this to me? Many thanks! ![]()
