Conjugating Verbs After Verbs
Hi guys, I had a quick question and I can't seem to find my answer anywhere else on the internet. My question is, when you have another verb before another, do you conjugate them both? Let me elaborate. Say we have 'Yo necesito.' I want to say that I must eat Would I say 'Yo necesito como' OR 'Yo necesito comer'
Thanks!

Depends what you want to eat, of course.. Necesito algo de comer, carne o pescado.. If you're just terribly hungry you could try ' Tengo hambre / estoy hambriento'. We can send food parcels, in rare cases.

I am sure you could find the answer! Spanish is different to English on this point. If you put both possibilities in a search engine go with the one with the most hits or just ask your kind teacher.
Do I know the answer? Yes. Am I going to give you the answer here? No.
I am not being petty, but if you look at your previous question I answered it and told you what you should put in your profile and why eg just language level.
The forum is an exchange between language learners so if you now want to join in by adding your language level I might make the effort to give you a fuller answer.
I'll give you a hand here. When two verbs are right next to each other in the same clause, the first is conjugated and the second is left in its infinitive:Yo necesito comer.
Think about this:
I need eat
I need to eat
Forget about Spanish for a moment and see how is it that you can relate stuff in your native language.
Does that help?
