it means literally as commitments for improvement but for me ot means, i promise of not to do it anymore...a confession to a sin...

Without any context, it's difficult to say, but I think compromisos here more likely means obligations or commitments to improve(ment). That is, somebody is promising to make improvements to something.

Again, without context, this is all just guesswork...
