I was listening to a song and heard the phrase "se le ve bonito".

How is this different from saying "se ve bonito"? Is there a difference, in meaning between "se le ve" and" se ve"?

Hi jathlazaro,

I believe that the 'le' refers to something 'it', I think that the song you are talking about is called "Carito", well in the song, Carlos says: Carito me habla en inglés Que bonito se le ve. the 'le' refers back to English: Carito talks to me in English How pretty it looks on her. 'Se ve' means looks, for example, se ve bien=looks good.

Hope this helps!

You guessed right. I was thinking about "Carito". And your answer was super helpful and makes that line of the song make so much more sense. Thanks a bunch! - jathlazaro, Nov 15, 2015
